Farm-to-Future™ is the education and implementation model of the Abiding Health Regenerative Food Resilience Initiative. It connects regenerative agriculture, integrated poultry systems, composting, sustainable food preservation, nutrition education, community food security, and climate resilience in one scalable, closed-loop system.

Introduction
Farm-to-Future™ works as one connected system. Poultry and plant materials contribute to compost, and that compost builds living, fertile soil. Healthy soil supports diverse, nutrient-dense food production — and the foods we harvest are freeze-dried or dehydrated to reduce waste and improve year-round access. Each part strengthens the next, closing the loop from soil to table and back again.
The Closed-Loop System
Every element feeds the next. Nothing is wasted — poultry and plant materials build compost, compost builds soil, soil grows food, and food nourishes and educates the community, which replicates the model onward.
Why the Program Exists
Decades of extractive farming have depleted the living soil that healthy food and resilient ecosystems depend on.
Too many families lack reliable access to fresh, nutritious, locally grown food throughout the year.
Enormous quantities of nourishing food are lost after harvest for want of simple preservation and distribution.
Our Objectives
Grow diverse, nutrient-dense food using regenerative practices that rebuild soil and increase yields over time.
Freeze-dry, dehydrate, and package harvests to extend shelf life, reduce food waste, and improve year-round access.
Increase access to healthy, locally grown and preserved food for families and neighbors throughout the year.
Operate a working farmette that shows regenerative systems in action and serves as a hands-on education center.
Document the system so families, schools, nonprofits, and communities can adopt and adapt it at any scale.
The Demonstration Farmette
Since November 2024, Abiding Health Systems has operated a regenerative demonstration farmette in the Historic District of Owego, New York.
